What we do

Technology that earns its place in your business

Six services across the full stack. A problem that sits across two of them is normal, and it is quoted as one piece of work.

IT strategy & advisory

Roadmaps, vendor selection and budget planning matched to where the business is heading.

What you get

  • A register of your systems, licences, contracts and renewal dates
  • A roadmap ranked by risk and return, with costs attached to each item
  • Requirements and a scored comparison you can take to any vendor
  • A budget you can defend, split into must-do and could-do
Who it is for
Owners and managers making a technology decision without an IT lead to test it against: a system replacement, a vendor renewal, next year’s budget. Businesses that have grown past the setup they started with.
Typical engagement
Two to four weeks. We review what you run and what it costs, talk to the people who use it, then write the plan. Vendor selection adds demos scripted against your own scenarios.
How it is priced
A fixed price for the review and the plan. We are paid by you, not by software vendors, so the advice carries no commission.
Works well with
Cloud & infrastructure, and Business systems & automation, where most roadmaps lead.

Cloud & infrastructure

Microsoft 365, Azure, networks, backup and disaster recovery — designed, migrated, documented.

What you get

  • Microsoft 365 and Azure configured and documented as built
  • Networks, Wi-Fi and firewalls set up, with a written diagram
  • Backup and disaster recovery configured, and a restore performed and evidenced
  • A licence review, since most tenancies pay for seats nobody uses
Who it is for
Businesses moving off an ageing server, consolidating onto Microsoft 365, or unsure whether their backups would actually bring them back.
Typical engagement
A one to two week review, then a migration planned in stages with a way back at each step. A typical Microsoft 365 or Azure move runs four to eight weeks and cuts over on an agreed date.
How it is priced
Migrations are a fixed price against an agreed plan. Licences are bought in your name, so you are never tied to us to keep them.
Works well with
Cyber security & compliance, since a migration is the best time to fix who can reach what.

Cyber security & compliance

Essential Eight uplift, risk assessments, MFA rollout and staff awareness training.

What you get

  • An Essential Eight assessment, with a maturity level for each of the eight controls
  • A plain-English risk register, ranked, with the fix and its cost beside each item
  • Multi-factor authentication in place, admin accounts separated, offboarding that works
  • Short staff awareness sessions, with a record you can show your insurer
Who it is for
Organisations asked by a customer, an insurer or a board to show their security is in order. Businesses that know they should act on the Essential Eight and are not sure where to start.
Typical engagement
A two-week assessment against the ACSC Essential Eight, ending in a written maturity level for each control. Uplift follows in stages you approve, usually over one to three months.
How it is priced
The assessment is a fixed price. Uplift is quoted per stage, so you can move one maturity level at a time.
Works well with
Managed IT support, so the controls stay in place after the uplift.

Business systems & automation

CRM, ERP and workflow automation that removes manual handling between your systems.

What you get

  • An audit with the manual steps timed, costed and ranked
  • CRM, ERP and workflow configuration, documented as built
  • Integrations with retries, readable logs, and an alert when a run fails
  • Before and after measurements, so the value is a number
Who it is for
Teams where the same information is typed into two systems by two people, or where hours a week go on copying, checking and chasing. Businesses whose CRM or ERP no longer matches how they work.
Typical engagement
A two-week audit that times the manual work rather than guessing at it, then automations and integrations built one at a time, each small enough to deliver in a fortnight and to switch off again.
How it is priced
The audit is a fixed price. Each automation or integration is quoted individually, alongside the hours it is expected to save.
Works well with
Data & reporting, since connected systems are what make the numbers agree.

Managed IT support

Proactive monitoring, patching and a helpdesk your team can actually reach.

What you get

  • A written register of systems, accounts, licences and who can reach what
  • Monitoring and patching of computers, servers and network equipment
  • A helpdesk in Melbourne business hours, reached by a person, not a queue
  • A monthly note of what was done, what is due and what needs a decision
Who it is for
Organisations of roughly five to fifty people with no internal IT team, or with one person carrying it alongside another job.
Typical engagement
Onboarding takes two to four weeks and documents what exists, often for the first time. After that: monitoring, patching and a helpdesk working to response times stated in writing.
How it is priced
A monthly fee based on the number of people and devices, with response times in writing. A month’s notice either way.
Works well with
Every other service, since somebody has to own the accounts afterwards.

Data & reporting

Clean reporting off your existing systems, so decisions run on numbers, not instinct.

What you get

  • An agreed definition for each measure, and the system it comes from
  • Reports and dashboards off your existing systems, refreshed on a schedule
  • A reconciliation showing the new numbers match the old ones, or why not
  • Documentation so someone else can maintain them
Who it is for
Leadership teams who arrive at a meeting with different numbers for the same month. Businesses running decisions off spreadsheets exported by hand.
Typical engagement
Two to six weeks for a first set of reports: agree which system owns each number, connect to it, build the reports, then run them beside the old ones until they match.
How it is priced
A fixed price per reporting package, after a short paid mapping exercise, since the cost follows the number of sources and the state of the data.
Works well with
Business systems & automation, when the numbers disagree because the systems do.

How we price

No dollar figures here: an honest number needs your context first. This is how the pricing behaves.

  1. Discovery and audits are fixed price, and the output is yours whether or not you continue.

  2. Build work is a fixed price against an agreed design, or a capped estimate when the scope genuinely cannot be pinned down yet. We will tell you which one applies and why.

  3. Changes are quoted and approved before work starts on them. Nothing appears on an invoice you have not already agreed to.

  4. Support is a monthly fee with stated response times, or hourly with no minimum, whichever suits the size of the need.

  5. You own the code, the data, the documentation and the accounts throughout, so the cost of leaving us is never part of the pricing.

Not sure which of these you need?

Describe the symptom in whatever words you use internally, and we will tell you which service it belongs in and roughly what it would take.
